There's a whole lot of talk about diversity and inclusion at Silicon Valley tech companies, but retention is missing from that conversation, says Anthony Frasier, the CEO of a New Jersey-based multicultural branded podcast network. 

Frasier is the entrepreneur-in-residence with Newark Venture Partners, and CEO of ABF Creative.

He was a speaker at the 2017 Black Enterprise TechConneXt Summit, interviewing Chief Equality Officer Tony Prophet from Silicon Valley-based cloud computing company Salesforce, and then leading a roundtable panel discussion afterward.

"It was really about going beyond the bullet points on how to solve tech's diversity problems ... and figuring out what's really going on and why we're bleeding so much black and multicultural talent out of these tech companies," Frasier said.

Moguldom caught up with Frasier at the summit. "Thank God we live now in a culture that's embracing other locations," Frasier said. "I'm glad about the progress in that area."

Wide-Open Town: Kansas City in the Jazz Age and Great Depression is a Landmarks of American History and Culture Workshop for K-12 educators that explores historical landmarks and cultural resources in Kansas City in order to better understand the pivotal decades of the 1920s and 1930s in United States history. This twenty-year period is often described as Kansas City’s “Golden Age.” City leaders boasted of Kansas City’s economic and civic triumphs and culture flourished, yet these achievements occurred in a political, social, and economic landscape fraught with machine politics, vice, and long histories of people fighting for their rights and freedoms. Much of what played out in Kansas City is a reflection of the larger cultural and historical forces that shaped this era in US history.

This week, the top 3 AI company working on Generative Video release some major updates.

First on the list was Stability AI, the company behind Stable Diffusion.
Stable Diffusion is the most popular open source AI tech for text to image generation and it powers some of the top AI apps like Leonardo AI and Dream Studio.

First update is from Stability AI. They have introduced the first open generative AI video model, which is based on the popular Stable Diffusion model.

Right now, you can join the wait list for an upcoming app. And if you are more technical, you can access this initial model through Github.

They also release a new image generation model inside of their App Clipdrop you can try now. It’s called SDXL Turbo and it can literally generate images in real time.

The second company with a big leap in AI video was Runway. Runway is still the leading text to video platform with Runway Gen-2. They released a new update called Magic Brush.
With Magic brush, you can brush over a specific part of an image and bring it to life.

This is available to use right now.

And third, we have PikaLabs and introduction of Pika 1.0.

Pika was only available on Discord, but with the release of Pika 1.0, it’s also coming to the web.
