Kansas City Public School is exceptionally proud of the Lincoln College Preparatory Academy class of 2020 for persevering through the unexpected obstacles placed before them. They showed adaptability and resilience that will, no doubt, serve them well as they begin to navigate adulthood. Although the school year didn’t conclude as planned, KCPS is committed to providing all our students with the educational experiences and recognition they deserve.

Kansas City's newest planned development at 18th and Vine has a new name. Stakeholders broke ground on The Parker Monday in the Historic Jazz District named for jazz icon Charlie Parker.

Emergency crews have responded to two building fires in Kansas City's historic Jazz District. Both buildings are vacant but authorities believe the two fires are related.

Kansas City is considering whether to invest $6 million into the historic 18th and Vine District.
